Welcome To IFEX 2021

IFEX 2021 – 17th International Exhibition on Foundry Technology, Equipment, Supplies and Services concurrent with 69th Indian Foundry Congress will be an excellent platform for the Indian as well as overseas companies to showcase their state-of-the-art technologies and services being offered to this vibrant industry to get exposed to new business opportunities.

India is 2nd largest producer of castings in the world and has ambitious growth plans with new capacities being added at rapid pace. The Indian Foundry Industry is producing estimated 12 Million MT of various grades of Castings as per International standards. There are approx. 4500 units out of which 85% can be classified as small scale units & 10% as medium & 5% as large scale units. Foundry Industry has a turnover of approx USD 15 billion with exports approx. USD 2 billion. India's casting industry expected to reach USD 19.2 billion by 2020. The healthy growth of exports – approx 25% - 30% year on year.

IFEX 2020 & Cast India Expo 2020 witnessed more than 300 companies’ participation from 13 countries. Buyers and trade visitors from pan India and nearby countries visited the show. Many companies had meetings with their key buyers making the show a real success.

    Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were invited to become new BRICS members. The decision was announced at a special news conference during the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. The membership takes effect on Jan 1,2024.
